Pour ghee into a cooker and heat it.
On light heating, pour cumin, mustard seeds, bay leaf, black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon sticks.
Fry on low heat and stir constantly. When cumin seeds start spluttering(or making noise), add cashews.
When cashews become light brown, pour water and stir.
Add rice, lemon juice, salt, and sugar. Close the lid of the cooker and take 2 whistles.
Close the flame & let it remain for 5-10 minutes.
Add one tablespoon ghee over cooked jeera rice for delicious taste.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Very tasty and delicious jeera rice is ready to be served.
