Instant Bread Kulfi | Kulfi Recipe | Kulfi with Bread

Bread kulfi has a delicious taste and is liked by everyone. It is an easy dessert option at all times. Bread kulfi is low in calories. I have prepared Bread kulfi without using gas and cornflour. It is very easy to prepare.

Bread kulfi mixture can be prepared within 7 minutes. After preparing this kulfi with bread, you cannot judge the taste of the bread separately as it tastes like rabdi. Bread kulfi is prepared with sugar, bread, milk, and milk powder. Health-conscious people can also enjoy this kulfi.

The use of dry fruits in this kulfi is optional. Using kesar and almond, it is also known as Kesar Badam KulfiUsing thandai, it is known as Thandai KulfiUsing betal (paan) leaves, it is known as Paan Kulfi. Using mango, it is known as Mango Kulfi. Using chocolate, it is known as Chocolate Kulfi.

Preparation Time:

7 Minutes

Ingredients (6-8 Kulfis)

  • Almond – 5 pieces
  • Cashew – 5 pieces
  • Bread – 2 pieces
  • Boiled Milk – 250ml or 1 cup (of room temperature)
  • Cream/Malai or Milk Powder – ½ cup
  • Sugar or Mishri – 75g or 7 teaspoons
  • Cardamom Powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Saffron (Kesar leaves) – ¼ teaspoon
  • Pista and Almond, chopped for garnishing

Preparing Bread Kulfi mixture

  • Take 5 pieces of almond, 5 pieces of cashew, 2 pieces of bread, 50g of sugar, and 250g of milk at room temperature in a mixer jar.

  • Grind them into a fine paste.

  • Add ¼ teaspoon of Cardamom powder, ¼ teaspoon of Kesar leaves.

  • Add ½ cup of cream/malai/milk powder in the jar and grind on the pulse button 5-6 times.

  • Grinding on the pulse button in a mixer means when you press the pulse button the blender or mixer will work at its fastest speed, but it will stop when you release the button.
  • If there is no pulse button in your mixer, then turn the nob continuously off and on the mode by only giving it one or two turns each time.

Serving Bread Kulfi

  • Transfer the above mixture to kulfi moulds or in other utensils of the desired shape of kulfi.
  • Garnish with chopped pista and refrigerate for 8-10 hours or overnight.
  • For demoulding kulfi –  Dip the kulfi mould in the water at room temperature for 1 minute and remove the kulfi from the kulfi mould by rotating the kulfi stick gently.

  • Garnish with chopped pista and chopped almonds.
  • Bread kulfi is ready to be served.

    Bread Kulfi Recipe Tips

    • The bread should be churned in the mixer properly so that it converts into a fine paste.
    • You can use bread pieces placed at the top and bottom of the bread packet which is generally thrown away.
    • When kulfi mould is placed in the refrigerator, cover the mould with foil paper or plastic sheet to avoid ice crystal as it may become hard when it is opened.
    • The quantity of sugar may be adjusted as per your taste.
    • Bread gives the perfect texture and immense taste to the kulfi.
    • If you do not have kulfi mould, you may use matka or glass cups to shape the kulfi.
    • I have used white bread for preparing kulfi.
